BAS have large drying ovens and racks for drying samples prior to crushing and can sieve or wet size by laser diffraction to maintain the quality of grind size.

Drying and sizing
Robotic Automated Sample Crushing
BAS have one pulverising and sizing facility with a second in development for delivery in 2021 for automated pulverising and sample handling. We have been providing this service for approximately 15 years for bauxite. We keep up to date with technology with our own technical people in house providing continuous improvement and innovation.
Robotic Automation FT-IR Spectra Generation
BAS have two facilities with a third in development for delivery in 2021 for automated preparation and analyses of bauxite samples by FT-IR. We have been providing this for approximately 15 years. We keep up to date with technology with our own technical people in house providing continuous improvement and innovation.
Database
BAS manage and maintain databases for customer submission of samples for analysis. This is developed and controlled inhouse by our technical group and is specific to each customer.
Repackaging and Barcode Printing
BAS offer an onsite repackaging and barcode printing to allow for damaged sample packets and barcodes to be processed by automation. This allows for a seamless flow of samples though our automation regardless of most conditions.
Warehousing Delivery, Dispatch and Archiving
BAS offer warehousing for sample delivery, sorting and quality control as well as repacking for analysis or dispatch for wet chemistry and archiving on site as required.
